Unlocking value and productivity through social technologies

According to a report published in July 2012 by the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), 72% of companies use social technologies in some way, but very few are close to realising its full commercial potential. The report estimates that productivity improvements in the order of 20-25% are achievable, as shown in the chart below.
